The Ortovox 3 Plus Black Special Package comes with all the essential gear for avalanche safety & survival: backpack, probe, shovel and beacon.
The pack is a women’s specific Free Rider Pack. It’s made to fit the contour of a women’s body and hips to make the pack as comfortable as possible. The pack is 18L and is compatible to carry skis or a snowboard and it’s also designed to fit your water hydration bladder inside.
The shovel is made of lightweight material and has an expandable handle. The pack has a snow-safety pocket designed specifically for the shovel
The beacon features one of a kind “Smart Antenna” technology that will always transmit the strongest possible signal, and will switch to the most effective antenna. The beacon straps to your torso and has a range of 141 feet. It has a triple antenna system and runs on 1 AA battery and will last for 250 hours (weights 7 oz.).
The probe that comes with the Ortovox women’s package weighs 10oz and comes with it’s own storable sack. The probe is made of aluminum and extends to a length of 240cm.
