Yesterday was the storm day.  Today the skies cleared and for the first couple hours we had ourselves a legit bluebird pow day.  Only 4″ overnight but it felt deeper on most runs.  The snow was a bit heavier so even after getting tracked up it still stayed smooth.

There was some upside-down snow on Backside and Baldy Shoulder.  But we’re not complaining.  Untracked and fresh made for an amazing day up at Alta.  The lift lines were almost non-existent.  Plus Alta Ski Patrol was on top of openings with Backside, Keyhole and the Shoulder opening somewhat quickly.  The Shoulder however shut down 30 minutes after opening the reason for is still unknown to us.
All in all a fantastic day, in a fantastic week, and what’s becoming a fantastic month.  More snow tonight and tomorrow!!!
