NateSunny and icy was the name of the game at Alta today. With the extremely warm temps you would have thought the snow might soften up a bit, but this was not the case. Groomers were very slippery in spots, often causing you to lose an edge. There was some decent wind buffed chalk in Tombstone off of Baldy Shoulder and some mediocre pockets of cream in Devil’s Castle but, other than that it was slim pickings today. It’s gonna take a massive dump to turn things around up here and it looks like our chance will not come until late next weekend.
