Today’s sneak attack mini-storm didn’t exactly create a powder filled paradise but it did a great job providing some soft turns in the otherwise spent snow conditions.  With most of Alta’s terrain closed down your options were limited but shots off of Tower 10 were skiing exceptionally well with powder bumps softening every turn all the way to the bottom.  Lone Pine and High Boy were holding snow all day and if you looked for it Westward Ho was rewarding generously.

The more exciting news is our 7-day forecast.  Strong storms are forecasted to hit Alta starting Saturday night with 1-2′ predicted by Tuesday.  Another storm is set to impact Utah Christmas Eve.  Hello white Christmas!
