The recent storm dropped about a foot on Alta Ski area. Most of the terrain saw skier traffic yesterday and Baldy Shoulder opened this morning with what looked like some great turns. We headed straight to the side country for some fresh turns on Rocky Point and Patsey Marley.

Rocks were still visible but coverage is getting really good. Somehow we managed to get all the way down Patsey without hitting a single shark fin. The snow was soft and easily manageable. Plenty of fresh turns still to be had on all of those backcountry spots! And more snow in the forecast!
