It was a sleeper pow day–we fell asleep last night thinking maybe 1″-3″ and slept in accordingly.  By 9am there was 9″ of fresh overnight and we were too late.  Fortunately snowfall continued intermittently throughout the day and conditions stayed fun late into the afternoon.  There was a crusty layer present and slopes that had slides or heavy tracks were becoming hard-packed but if you looked around the powder was deep and fluffy.  Visibility was hit or miss but improved as the day progressed.  The entire mountain, besides the Castle, was open before noon.  Conditions will likely remain soft and shredtastic throughout the day tomorrow!
