Alta continues to suffer from the annoying high pressure hovering over California and Nevada. The storm that split and lightly sprinkled over the area today is supposed to drop a trace to an inch of snow tonight before high pressure and warming temps move back in. Although the snow wasn’t piling up quick today, it still softened things up a bit. We found some smooth turns on North Greeley and some decent skiing in Lone Pine where you could actually see through the fog.¬†Long range forecasts for the Wasatch look somewhat promising with a storm predicted to pass through northern Utah Sunday night and another one next Tuesday.¬†Hopefully our upcoming Spring months make up for our non-existent Winter months.
