Alta continues to suffer from the annoying high pressure hovering over California and Nevada. The storm that split and lightly sprinkled over the area today is supposed to drop a trace to an inch of snow tonight before high pressure and warming temps move back in. Although the snow wasn’t piling up quick today, it still softened things up a bit. We found some smooth turns on North Greeley and some decent skiing in Lone Pine where you could actually see through the fog. Long range forecasts for the Wasatch look somewhat promising with a storm predicted to pass through northern Utah Sunday night and another one next Tuesday. Hopefully our upcoming Spring months make up for our non-existent Winter months.
