Alta Ski Patrol dropped the gates to Fred’s Trees today.  In spots the snow was fresh and fun but most turns were followed by frightening stumps and rocks.  Luckily turns in High Boy were equally as good minus the shark teeth.

The 3″ of fresh that was reported in the last 24 hours has gone a long way in areas off of Tower 10 where no one is skiing.  The traverse isn’t exactly a walk in the park but you’re certainly rewarded once you get to your destination.  The forecast is calling for a chance of lake effect tonight but other than that we’re looking at a week of high pressure.
