With only a dusting forecasted for today five inches was a welcomed surprise. The Tower 10 Traverse benefited greatly from today’s snowfall making it much easier to access High Boy and Lone Pine. With no significant precip in the past three weeks today felt like a true pow day. The clip below was shot on High Boy where the snow skied great all day. Looks like possibly another inch or two tomorrow morning and if the Jitterbug boot pack opens it should be another great day to ski Alta.

The first item on my Christmas list, the Stoic Hadron Down Anorak. This amazing jacket/sweater is filled with 850-fill goose down. It’s perfect to wear around town or to take in the backcountry. The fabric has a lightweight construction that allows you to pack it nice and compact for your backpack. The fit of this down jacket is slightly tapered and has an athletic fit, yet is roomy enough in the arms and chest for movement. A unique kangaroo pocket on the front will stuff into itself as serve as your pillow when camping. Lightweight, warm and comes with a hood the Stoic Hadron Down Anorak is a must have to add to my collection.
